We've heard that a million monkeys at a million keyboards could produce the complete works of Shakespeare; now, thanks to the Internet, we know that is not true.

I always thought it was an infinite number of monkeys?

I'm with trillianjedi - I've always heard it said to be an infinite number of monkeys. A million trained typists wouldn't recreate Shakespeare's complete works. :-)

BTW -- I've also heard this statement limited to Hamlet, but if we're talking infinity that wouldn't really matter. ;-)

Hi,

But a finite number of script kiddies/monkeys can *destroy* the entire works of Shakespeare...

Kewl!
