Congrats on your first check! I got my check on October 1st in the US, Florida. I don't think I'll sign up for EFT because I like to just look at the checks for a few days before I deposit them. My current check is still hanging above my desk next to my "to do" list.

congrats on getting your first cheque got my first payment a few days ago, I used EFT as it would be quicker (I think) for me as im in the UK

I too donít think Iíll sign up for EFT.

It just seems like itís a greater accomplishment when you have something tangible you can hold in your hand, like a check.

Congrats Conjo, I remember it was a very good feeling.

Jeremy, you can always withdraw money and enjoy in bunch of paper bills ;-)

Thank you guys.
It is just a feeling, i can't express.

I knew nothing about adsense, when i began working on my website.
This paycheque is my first income from website.
Also to add to it, a music player website signed up for text link add on my website.
I think, that area is something, iam seriously pursuing.
Has anyone done this before or doing it now?

Please let me know.

Got my first bank credit from Google - in the UK

Erm, i just applied for EFT but i think i might consider taking back the check method. I love it when i bring the check to the bank. Makes me feel i have a life. :>

Electronic transaction is vague.

congrats on your first check..

i chose EFT because when i was doing checks my bank would hold half of my check for a week and the other half of the check for two weeks because it was so big.. eft gives me all my money when i get it.

got my check yesterday, but love and behol' they missed my name on the damn check!
just got back from my bank to try and deposit it & they said no, not without name!
it had my address but in the payee name it was a '-'
time to contact adsense support.
hopefully they will rectify this issue in a quick time frame.
waiting a whole month on a fairly large amount & this happens. :(

congrats on your first check!

I much prefer the electronic method, Im in the UK and the cheques arrive in USD currency. I need to wait about 30-45 minutes in the bank while they messa round with currency exchange rates, then there is a charge of a minimum of £7 ($14) per cheque... dont see the sense in all that hassle when the electronic system is faster, easier and cheaper!

well when they unleash EFT on us poor soles in Australia, i'm sure myself and others would jump with joy.
unfortunately according to adsense support there was no definitive time line for this to happen to us Aussies.
i hope Google will do the right thing and offer to pay me this check that was screwed up on there end via a one-time EFT payment.
heck, i even paid a $24 courier charge on this check which i can't do anything with. :/
hopefully hear from them soon!
