with two little children I happily spend my ad money on them ... :)
I don't think this is quite what you mean, but my AS money goes on more and better hosting, development time, and new (photography) equipment to let my site(s) grow.
Though sound investment, all of these are really quite fun and things that I would continue to do more slowly as a public service and for fun if AS wasn't there.
Haven't had any wild hedonism on AS money yet. (Other than dancing on tables while Ann plays guitar, obviously...)
My wife always wants to go "Somewhere expensive" so this month I took her to the local petrol station!
Rent of my apartment
Leasing of my car
Insurance of my car
Tax to the finance office
Servers and domain names
Fuel for my car
Food and clothes
Nothing special, only what I need to live
The special expenses will pe possible when I increase my earnings
I've put every AdSense cheque that I've received straight into my savings account - except for one, which I used to buy a really comfortable computer chair :)
My cheques usually go straight in the bank.
I have just got back from a holiday to Greece, Italy, Switzerland and Dubai. I had a great time thanks to Adsense.
I think it was even better that I was making money while I swam, baked and had fun in the Mediterranean sun ;)
All my money gets put back out to writers so they can write me more interesting articles.
I guess I will use Novembers money to help with the payment of some Christmas gifts to the family!
Changed from a single-wide to a double-wide to fit in my new big screen tv.
And I'm buying appartments right now.
bought a house and qualified mainly with adsense income.
Seems easier to qualify than ever....I used a printout of my turbotax before I even sent it off. I mean I could have put any numbers in it.
Buying Ebay scams! :-(
Pay the mortgage, the utilities, the phone, food...
"My wife always wants to go "Somewhere expensive" so this month I took her to the local petrol station!"
This was a great post.
By the way, do you know why women like diamonds?
Because they are expensive.
I also liked the post that said the adsense money is going to the savings account.
It is very important to pay yourself first. Putting in savings is paying yourself.
The others are very valid too, you have to do what you have to do to live and to grow your business.
Have a great day.
Extra holiday abroad for the family each year and just makes life easier with less financial worries!
been travelling for almost a year in europe(currently in Amsterdam),plus im buying a house.
Do you mean you are traveling the world and Adsense pays for it? You now and then visit some Internet Café to maintain the accounts and stuff? What's the deal here?
By the way, watch out for pickpockets in A'dam!
Pay for my hosting.
With the leftover I get a hamburger, sometimes with fries, sometimes without.
Big Mac Meal Deal
(I super size it on a good month)
I'm using mine to sell GOOG short hehe
Buy a car, cash outright.
Buy new laptops, cash outright.
Travel the world, cash outright.
Marry off my last daughter, cash outright.
Bury my father-in-law, cash outright.
Just important stuff. I love Adsense.
Hum . . . bury father-in-law. What a great idea! Google that's more than I could have dreamt of!
Funeral expenses are horrendous. Luckily we had Adsense revenues.
Hi all -
As an AdSense support team member, I love hearing how publishers are benefiting from AdSense on a personal level. I'll be sure to pass this along to the rest of the support team.
BTW, I like the post about going to the petrol station ;)
Bought a Hewlett Packard TC1100 tablet PC.
Family holiday in Crete, National trust membership, summer house for the garden, another family holiday in Wales, a mountain bike for me, annual ticket to park my car by the beach........
Saving up for a family holiday in the US next.
I've mostly been upgrading my computer system - got a new 19" LCD monitor, Windows XP Pro (had been running WinME for years), wireless keyboard & mouse, new webcam... and the list goes on.
I do have a bit of fun & food too.
I give my money to amazon.com via dvds and cds although some stays in the bank
Buy food for eating...
