How much are you earning?

Hello, people with 3000-4000 unique visits per day, and around 8000 views, could you please tell to us your average in the Adsense program, for the purpose of comparision?

Note: This number refer to site stats, and not page impressions on google report.

Why even ask? The answers will be meaningless, because so many factors determine how much a given amount of traffic will earn.

Do you think the site traffic dont have nothing to do with the amount?

There are many variables, but I think a comparision could be done, in certain way. If you dont like it, please dont censure the thread, or ask directly to a moderator to delete it.

i agree... traffic amount has nothing to do with anything.. you cant make a good comparison like that.

a comparison could be made, but only a very very rough one. So take the advice other give you and don't waste your time bothering with it.

Why cant people just answer his question?

I have 3500 daily page views (and about half are uniques) and revenue varies from about 2000 to 3700 monthly (say average 100 per day) for 2 years.

So if you compare to your figs you would get double that. IF EVERYTHING was equal. But thats not likely to be the case.

Ain't that the truth! I'm well over twice that and WAAAAAY below in income level!

The market niche you occupy is what it's about.. I'm in a low paying one.. obviously, you're in a better one.. care to PM me and let me know "which"... ;-)

Thanks Nitrous, you made the post that I was waiting.

I have 3500 uniques and my earnings are averaging 2,5 dolares per day in this month.

With this fact, we can suppose that the comparision with traffic make no sense, but still a curiosity.

My Adsense advertisers are not from USA. Maybe in the USA the are words are well priced? Maybe you made some better positioning with your ads?

I can say that the ads almost really fit the content of my site.

nice Nitrous. 3500 page views is roughly how many ad impressions/clicks?

3500 uniques with only $2.50 a day? I only have 300 uniques a day and I earn $1.00 to $3.50 ($1.90 average this week) and my website is just a directory site offering very broad topics from bras to space shuttles.

Maybe this is your first month? Or maybe yoursite is in other language than English?

I started in May, and yes, my site is in another language ( you can realize that reading my poor english ) but im very unsatisfied with the results and ctr, which is very low.

This is a dumb question but, is unique visits non search engine traffic or search engine traffic?

It's the number of unique IP addresses that visit your site.

Think of it as the number of people who come to your store. One person can come in many time per day and buy lots of things or nothing at all.

That unique person is only counted once for that day.

I average around 5000, and my best-ever day was $16.

Current average post August's Adwords reshuffle... $4.

It's a news-based site based in the UK. Been running it for nine years.

I get under 200 uniques visitors to my site per day, yet average $13 per day (this since March)...maybe I'm heading for a big fall, or maybe I'm just in the right sector (photography).

Hey guys,
I get about 300 to 400 unique visitors a day and adsense ranges between $10 to $25(today's amount, which is the highest reached) I would have to say that probably none of it is search engine related traffic.

I get about 8% of people clicking on my adsense adds.
If you are wondering where that traffic is coming from I will share, and you can get it very easily, but nothing for nothing, what do I want, well, I want to know about these so called lists of high paying key words. I want to know How I can get a copy of the list for free, or exchange of information.

To get that traffic I talk about you have to do something, just work no cost.

It all depends on the focus of your site.

Some topics inherently tend to draw users who have a reason to click on ads, some don't.

Some topics match keywords where the bids happen to be very high; some where the bids happen to be very low.

Some topics match keywords where the CTR tends to be high; some where the CTR tends to be low.

If we everyone knew which specific topics achieve the highest CTRs and highest payments per click, I suspect there would be a huge rush to build sites focused on that niche, and the competition for traffic would become brutal.

kensav, thats approx 400 clicks, 5000 add units served daily, 3500 pages visited, 100 dollars daily average.

Over 15 small niche hobby sites, all pure useful content on different subjects. Most of them were already up two years ago. Different sites earn 2 percent to 50 percent of total, but they vary enormously from month to month, but the bad ones are usually compensated for by the good ones!

No use at all in comparing earnings by traffic, you can't even have a rough comparison -- you'd have to do traffic by industry, and even then you'd have a huge difference in cpm due to placement, page content, etc.

2000 uniques, 2500 banner impressions, CTR 7-9 %, 23$ a day.

I wish I would earn more with these unique visitors.

my best site: 650 uniques, 900 impressions, $140 day

another site: 800 uniques, 2500 impressions, $20 day

that says it all

ive decided I should try and get involved a little more on this site as its so handy.

anyway here's my details

unique visitors a day = 3500 - 4000 on main site

unique visitors a day = 1000 - 1500 on forums

page views a day (that have adds on them) = 35,000 - 45,000 on main site

and 15,000 - 20,000 page views for the forum

earnings for august average $60 a day ($15 for forum and $45 for main site)

this month average = $40 a day ($10 for forum and $30 for main site)

ok need to point out the reason for so many page views on the main site

I show wallpapers for people to download, now a certain section for example "animals" might have 10 pages so people will obviously browse through some of the pages before clicking a google ad.

hope that helps

While these sorts of threads are always interesting, I have to ask: Isn't it still against the Adsense TOS to discuss your earningings? Before, folks here would give a friendly warning when someone mentioned their earnings; now everyone seems to do it with abandon.

Msg#: 9175 posted 12:59 am on Sep 8, 2005 (gmt 0)

No its fine to discuss earnings, but not exact cpm, epc, etc. But an aproximate average is not really the same thing as actual figures, just a general idea.

~4,800 uniques/day
~830,000 page views/day (yes, we have obsessive users)
~$20/day Adsense

Online games + forums = absolute bottom of the barrel on a CPM basis.

Think of it as the number of people who come to your store. One person can come in many time per day and buy lots of things or nothing at all.

That unique person is only counted once for that day.

Or, to be more accurate (but never accurate enough!), think of it as the number of vehicles that come to your store. Usually, one vehicle is the same as one customer, but sometimes the same vehicle gets borrowed by different people, so the simple algorithm of assuming one vehicle (IP address) uniquely identifies a person isn't quite accurate. And then, some other times, the AOL bus drives up, and even though there's only one vehicle, a whole bunch of different people are actually shopping, and you learn not to make any business-critical decisions based on the flawed assumption that one vehicle (IP address) is the same as one customer. :-)
