Does anyone have any experience with the T&Cs with regards to sharing AdSense revenues with the creators/contributors to the site? Is it allowed? or is special permission required? Many thanks.

AFAIK, it is certainly allowed to share revenues with contributors, but you will be responsible for determining who gets how much (perhaps using channels?). Also, if a contributor decides to improve his/her income by clicking away on the ads, it will be your account that is on the line...

A very valid point Eltiti. The current plan of attack will be to make it quite clear to contributors that any deviation from a normalised CTR will result in immediate booting from the site. Additionally, I will look to use other scipts to record clicks myself and which IPs they originate from.
