Does country matter for CPC? I'm helping a friend in Turkey; he gets lousy CPC. suidas msg:1379540 4:32 pm on Jul 4, 2005 (gmt 0) I'm helping a friend in Turkey get his site in shape. I recommended he add Adsense. He signed up and was approved.
His site is on a topic close to my site. We both get visitors from the US and England, not Turkey. I get very nice CPCs—the topic is a rich one. But HE gets the lowest possible.
I can understand if Google cast a wary eye on new foreign accounts and spamming, but does Google "discriminate" on CPC?

like somebody in here could really answer that...

Does that mean CPC depends on the Publisher country?
Publisher from USA will get more money than Publisher from China from the same content targeted ad? Thats weired and not logical.
Can anyone asure it?

No, it depends on the visitor country, not the publisher country, quite sure. Alioc msg:1379544 9:04 am on Jul 5, 2005 (gmt 0)
Hi suidas. I'm from Turkey too and I can clearly confirm that this is not the case. It's all about his site's content and geo-targeting of the ads, thus, if most of his traffic is coming from Turkey, these visitors will not see the high CPC US targetted ads. asianguy msg:1379545 10:06 am on Jul 5, 2005 (gmt 0)

This is not true. I knew some people in Asia who are making the amount close to what i making because most of their traffic are coming US, Canada and UK.
It all depends where your traffic is coming from...that's your barometer for CPC.
