don't get too high on google is mainly what I meant. You sound wired over 100 bucks... Is that a new beginning for you? For me that's a good night out. I meant only that you should keep this in perspective.

I've been watching my earnings increase and the first $100 felt pretty good to me to until I realized that at the current rate, I'll be making $100/mth guaranteed. When I worked out that math, I dumped my cheap hosting at webhost4life and went for a real webhost that will cost me $40.00 a mth. I couldn't have made that leap without seeing the results of Google's Adsense. Now I have reliable hosting with excellent download speeds. I like the google. I just hope I can figure out a way to make a boat load of cash because there is much more that I'd like to do with my site, but it will cost money.

Congratulations! I’ve been watching this forum for a couple of months, but this is my first post… Did you income slowly rise to this level or did it start out slow and rise quickly? I’ve been using adsense on a new sight for three months. Its income has been climbing every month, but no where near a hundred dollars a day – more like a dollar. Not that I’m complaining, I know it takes awhile to gain readership and traffic is a very important ingredient to adsense success. As my sight moves up in the search engines I hope the revenue trend continues. Mainly, I’m just wondering if there is a point where things take off quickly, or is it a slow steady climb.

| No, I actually made fun of the dollar amount several times. The actual # is not important here, just that a goal or plateau has been reached, and a new one has been set. The post was written to maybe 'inspire' people who are having a hard time. I know I've read posts here that helped me a lot..and maybe to generate a little conversation on how people started and where they are and how they got there...just wanted inject a little positivity into these forums which are for the most part negative...

| Since this was an old site that I had lying around, with the same amount of traffic as always...the income started and stayed about the same throughout... I worked on squeezing a little more traffic into the site, and tinkered with some ad placements...so overall it is up a bit every month from when I first put adsense on it... I've mainly been working on other projects and leaving that alone, it's a strange niche and probably never gonna be a huge earning site.

Work on your traffic, if you have the traffic you can make a lot of money. Set your milsetones and mark progress when you go from $5/day to $20/day to $50/day, then $100/day you'll be all smiles. It can be done, be patient.

Congrats brokenbricks, It's so refreshing and encouraging to hear someone like you. Remember it's all relative. Someday you'll look back and think "Wow, it took me over 2 MONTHS to make what I do now in one day". So I won't say what we made the very first day. Roadkill, Sounds like you either need to look into a dedicated server, a cheaper host or stop giving away all that free porn video :-) Hope you're making at least 10 times that on adsense to offset costs.

Congratulations! I remember my self making a $30 a month for 3 months, then I took some actions and changes and increased earning to 100 bucks a month :) So I gut addicted to it and improved some more and... $280 bucks a month. Then, the 'smart pricing' came and I went back to $100 a month, but this is another story:) What I'm saying here is, that you should keep trying because little changes on the page, can be a big different in earnings. Good luck

I'm also new to AM. I had my first 100$ month last month and this month should break 150$. I just added a new site last week and another is just out of the sandbox. I began this quest in March, putting up a site, doing research, and writing, writing, writing! I am finally breaking 5 dollars a day and now aiming for 10. It can be done no doubt. I hope I'm fortunate enough to be looking back on this post in a couple of months laughing at how I was worried if I would break 5$ today.

I kinda started out with an acceptable income.. About $90 on my very first month. I can attribute it to my already established traffic. But some months were also bad, just like everyone else. I've read so much from this site (and others -- thanks) that helped me improve my earnings. I was already happy with my $90 or $100+ per month but I was thinking maybe I could give it a little more work so I can earn something higher. I have since increased my earnings significantly, thanks to all the advice and the hard work. I believe anyone can do it. All it takes is a lot of patience and a whole lot of reading. Congratulations on your first paycheck. Enjoy it!

Congratulations. We have made $100 in few hours and the UPS club regularly, but..... hosting and adwords took a sizable chunck away. Then, we dropped like a ton of bricks to what now seems a sad $50 to $100 a day. We will be back on top again, with or without adsense The only way is not just up, be prepared for sharp shock downs to, keep focusing on what you are doing, providing valuable content can only be good in the long run. Never give up on a bad month result. You gotta believe in what you are doing to make it successful. I wonder what happened to the guys that were going to leave their day's job fot Adsense? Are they looking for a job or enjoying Adbucks?

| The name came from a song title of a band I am particularly fond of. Loved the song, and the name always stuck in my head... Back to the original topic, I'm about to have my record high day with adsense. Things seem positive lately, just gonna keep working and see where It takes me...

I really know how you feel about seeing some income generated by your site. I've got a site that I'd neglected for a couple of years but was still getting traffic. Put a few Google ads on it, got some dollars, put some more ads on, got some more dollars and have been averaging $4 per day. Last 3 days suddenly I'm back to $1 something per day. Ok it was a fluke, just a ripple in the cosmos, just accept reality. it's over. Today, Wam! $6.50 for the day. I'm back on cloud nine. Hey all that talk of $100 per day is possible. I've got to tell you, this roller coaster ride is addictive!

I'm with all the poor folk here in getting all excited cracking the 2 dollar mark ;) I saw one day with $6.50 and I nearly pooped my pants! I will probably poop my pants if I see that regularly. However, I'm just averaging about $2.50/day.

Well done all you guys. I made $4 a day back at the end of 2003. Managed $140,000 this month. Reasonably satisfied with that. Takes a bit of effort to get to more than $1m a year revenue from AdSense but it's there for the taking.

Welcome to WebmasterWorld klickx! Here is one for you... In 2003 I gave up an affiliate program that was making me $2,000 a week (net of advertising). I started a new website that took: - 38 days to pass the $1.00 mark - 107 days to pass the $10.00 mark - 138 days to pass the $100.00 mark Over the last 3 months I've averaged roughly $175/month. My goal is $400 / day. Some of you might think I'm crazy or that progress has been too slow for me - but honestly I've never failed at anything I've ever done and I know this is going to happen - maybe even more. Congratuations brokenbricks! Big Dreams to all!
