So, can anyone remember it takes before it hits the accounts? I know it depends on the bank in question, but what was the average? 2, 3 days?

| you had to ask for them in the first place. Go back to where you did that and say no instead of yes... alternatively you can set up email rules that will.... umm...sorry..

| It depends entirely on the bank in question... you said it yourself. I get EFT payments from other sources and they usually take 24 hours almost to the minute with my bank. If your banks accounting dept takes a proactive, heads-up stance on keeping the books straight, and most probably do, then between 24 and 36 hours is pretty cool. Cool with me anyway...

It hasn't been 24 hours since they posted the 'payment in progress' in our payment history. What would make you think it should be there this early in the day (9AM CST). Try checking your bank at the end of the day... apples to apples my friends... a day is a day only when 24 hours has passed.

I wonder how the (what seems to be obvious) paying internationals first worked out for them. A change to see people from other countries having the funds in their account before US accounts. I wonder if the processing center is still in the US?

I know EFT's is a system in beta, but I would have thought it would have been a bit more synchronized. I know with other transfers to my account, they show up in almost realtime - now this says payment is complete, along with an ID, but I don't see it in the account. I wonder if payment completion is when they forward it to a company that handles these, or if it's when the money is sent to the account, which would explain the delay.

Looks like they did international before US. US had it before international last month... maybe they're going to keep alternating? As an American, I am deeply offended at the lack of preferential treatment here.

I agree, but how can that be: They would've had to send the checks to the UK 7-10 days before they sent them to the US... that's just pointless. Unless Google has a billing center in the UK? dunia - Did your check come from NY?

When I make electronic payments FROM my bank account, the payment is acknowledged right away by the company I'm paying, but it can be two or three days before my bank account reports the debit. I assume that there's a similar delay with the Google system.
