Google has released new link formats. Links are now positioned horizontally. Anyone care to try first?

>>hunderdown
guess your right, i've fixed it so a blank table in the color of the ads backgrounds fills in the rest. Good thing they didn't give a border around it.
Guess I didn't really need to stretch it, and it wouldn't be worth the risk
Well anyway, thx for the advise, now that I changed it back I can at feel that tiny bit safer.

Well I'm relatively new and a small fry in the adsense world the most I've made in a day is $35.16 with a max ctr of 9.3% over the last several days since I had finally gotten adsense on all my pages my ctr had gone down to a low of 5.4% as of yesterday.
As soon as I saw the new ads last night I replaced all my 728x60 banners that were just below my menu bar (except my home page) with the 728x15 adlinks and so far half way through the day my CTR is 7.9% and my CPM is $8.55 from an all time low of $6.18 yesterday.

It seems better to me but like I said I'm a newb maybe others can judge better. All I know is the 728x15 ads almost appear both in style (due to the colors I've chosen) and in content (due to google) as a second row of links on my menu. That may be good and bad. Good in the sense that people are clicking bad in the sense that they may not have really been looking for the ads and may not support the advertisers.

I'm in NC. I checked for the new formats and they are not available to me. I've also had problems today getting ads related to site theme instead of page content.

while I'm here and posting can anyone recommend something other than adsense. I currently have some amazon ads on my site and I've been turned down by fastclick twice (I have an account there but it's from a few years ago and I forgot the pass and don't own the domain that my email was at the time :-() So any suggestions of anything else?

Well, I somehow just can't seem to make them work on my site. I had tried it before and I tried it with the new format but I am removing them now cause the added impressions and no clicks are killing my ECPM.

They seem to work for me.
they fit in good with my forums in threads.
But getting any sot of clicks in a thread is a improvement and the numbers aren't stellar.

Well after 4 days I have to say, the results are very pleasing indeed!

Thanks G for the extra bucks.
