Hi everyone,

I have applied for AdSense program, but i was rejected. I can not think of a single reason why i was rejected, well except one. Its a brand new site, no pr yet. Could that be the reason. Site is full of content and no advertisers and it is being updated on daily basis.

Looking forward to your suggstions.

Thank you.

TJ

Hiya TJ (this could get confusing!).

It's possible that google excluded you as a potential adsense client because your site is very new (so little to no traffic) but I would be surprised if it has anything to do with your actual PR.

How does the site do in the SERPS?

Hey TJ,

Thank you for quick response. Site is not crawled by bot yet, so it is not in SERP yet, could that be the reason? I applied multiple times with modifications to the site of course. When i applied for the program, i was not getting that much traffic, but since then site is getting traffic.

Looking forward to you all's response.

Thanks...

TJ

I just applied for AdSense on a whim, and saw a reviewer come in from *.adz.google.com:XXXX. They spent about 25 minutes on the site, culminating in a request for "favicon.ico" (i.e. they added my site to their favorites), and then a few moments later I got the rejected email.

It's a funny old world.
