How much can I get per click? And also can I click my own ads?

How much you can get per click will vary from a few cents to several dollars, depending on many variables such as topic, targeting, quality of site, etc.

And no, you cannot click your own ads. As an advertiser I would consider that to be stealing from me.

Hope this helps...

How much can I get per click?

$0.0X to $XXX.00 per click, it all depends.

And also can I click my own ads?

What do you think...sheesh...

"And also can I click my own ads?"

Since advertisers get charged for clicks, that would be called theft.

If webmasters were able to click their own ads, we'd all be billionaires.

I suggest you hang around this site and read as much as you can.

You should of really used your brain before asking if you can click on your own ads.

If you could get FREE MONEY (warning lights should be going off in your brain right now) by CHEATING THE SYSTEM, there would be only one post in the adsense forum: a list of a auto-clicker.

I hate to sound mean, but how stupid are you.

Please...Cooldoug asked a serius question.

Hi Cooldoug
You are normally not allowed to click your own ads. But Google allows that you double-click your ads. Double-click tells google that it is you who are clicking.

Google and publishers pays webmaster who doubleclick their own ads, because they believe we are a good segment to target.

You ARE ALLOWED to click on YOUR OWN ADS if you are an advertiser.

You are NOT allowed to click on others's ads if they are displayed on your site and you are a publisher.

Payments hardly cross $1 per click and i personally have not seen a two digit dollar click as yet. Maimum i have seen is $2 approx.

BTW, how many of you have got $5 clicks, or $10 clicks or more? has anyone anything beyond that?

that's pure luck..
picture that you have 10 clicks, that's like 100$
that would be a kicker..

i refuse believe that there are some people that get 5$ clicks or more..

If webmasters were able to click their own ads, we'd all be billionaires.

Back in the real world of economics...

If we all clicked our own ads, none of us would make any money; the value of the advertising space would be worth next to nothing.

He probably just meant, if I see something that interests me, can I click it? Probably seeing himself as a prospective customer.

Answer is no Doug, you can't. It's against terms of service, even if you think there's a 100% chance you'll buy something.

Cool site, Doug, I like your free graphics, might use some of them for my art projects.

I noticed that you haven't put your Adsense up yet, good thing you checked here first to ask a couple questions.

Read back over the terms of service and if you look past some of the posts, you can find some good info here at webmasterworld.
