I just saw it for the first time too... it is an ebay graphic... I thought maybe they have a special arrangement.

I just saw an ad with a tiny icon on my site today. It is a normal text ad but in the upper left corner there is a small icon at the size of a favicon. I have never seen this before, is it something new?

I hope there will be an option to turn them off. The icons look ugly on certain colored backgrounds.

Has anyone else noticed graphics appearing in their normal adsense text ads? I have just noticed that in my 120x600 ad format, four text ads appear as normal but within the headline text of one of them, there is a tiny ebay logo. Has anyone else noticed anything similar?

I'm not sure if this has been posted yet, but it's something I just noticed today... In my regular adsense ads (the text version), I'm now occasionally seeing tiny logo icons. For example, I just saw the ebay logo appear in an ad for ebay in a small 16 x 16 pixel image. It appears in the same line as the title. Here's the image: [pagead2.googlesyndication.com...] I guess it helps filter out what's an affiliate and what's a legitimate company's ad, so that's good. On the other hand, I want only text on my page... not another company's logo. Anyone else notice this and what are your opinions if so?

You just beat me to it on this topic (I was checking to see if it had been posted earlier). I first noticed this yesterday on multiple sites of mine. To date I've only seen the eBay logo, but one figures that others might be forthcoming. If it helps on the CTR, this sort of thing is fine by me. Though I'm sure not all publishers will concur with me due to a number of factors...

I 've seen one I think was of trip advisor or other hotel reservation site. It was like two eyes, or an 8 flipped horizontal

Yeah I noticed it last night, saw one for Sear's. Looks pretty lame actually, terrible quality graphic and it doesn't fit in AT ALL in the space.

I think it's a nice idea - might draw some eyes to the ads. However, I've only seen the ones for eBay - and I don't want anything eBay showing up on my sites! They've been added to my filter list.

ive just seen ebay images myself. i specified "text ads only in this ad unit" <shakes head>. i don't like a {poor quality} image on a text only page - but it stays for now. Does anyone know how - as an AdWords advertiser - how this image is included. Is it only available to a select few?

I just saw one. I don't like them. They look like little mouse droppings on the web page.

Just been to a website that includes AdSense ads and for the first time, I have seen a block of four ads with one ad featuring a graphic of what looks like... eyeballs behind glasses - binoculars... on the left of the ad before the title of the ad starts. I'm guessing this is to encourage more clicks?

I'm not seeing these anymore. I liked them as they drew attention to the ads. Anyone know what happened?
