Theory on Adsense Targetting Ads targetted to your cookies/IP rookiecrd1 msg:1352472 7:34 pm on Apr 26, 2005 (gmt 0) I have noticed that it seems as though adsense may target ads not only from thecontent on the page you visit but also from cookies or the IP address the person browsing the site has. For instance I am often at investment sites with google ads on them. When I go to visit a dating site (example) I see investing ads in their adsense box.
When I use a different PC, I don't see the investing ads.
Am I on to something or just full of bolgne?

I've noticed that too. But I could not spot cookies from G on my PC. oddsod msg:1352474 7:37 pm on Apr 26, 2005 (gmt 0)
This is certainly worth investigating - it would be a major privacy violation if it's true. Scoreboard msg:1352475 8:41 pm on Apr 26, 2005 (gmt 0)
