But in what field?

Travel related,
tech related,
smiley/avatar/picture/icon/font/wallpaper/screensaver site,
etc...

Otherwise its difficult to draw conclusions or trends.

hobby site mostly of interest to women

Worse was the day before Easter but all holidays are bad for me. Women are just busy with them.

Best was two days ago, Thursday the 29. I have no idea why.

It seems to vary so much by topic and who knows what. There are so many variables affecting it.

Addendum:

I just realized that my "best day" actually came from a "big release event" specific to my site. Aside from that spike:

2nd Best Day: 27 March

For the company I work for:

Best: March 28 (Monday)
Worst: March 6 (Sunday)

Roughly 3.8-to-1

Nothing crazy happened this month to cause a spike on 3/28, and the top revenue day wasn't even in the top ten for highest daily visits for the month.

Best - Thursday 3/3

Traffic is a few thousand page impressions per day.

Other business only gets a few hundred page impressions per day but makes silly money and the ratio is 18.5:1. 3/3 best, 3/20 worst.

Best - 3/29
Worst - 3/27

The ratio is too horrible to ponder. 3/27 was a real stinko day for me and the day after I was done playing with AdSense positions, layouts. In fact, the entire period where I was experimenting saw CTR and earnings plummet and now I am back with the original layout plus AdLinks which made the final cut.

It's surprising that some people are reporting the last few days of a month as being their best performing... I figured that advertisers would have monthly budgets and would have run out of money by the end of the month? (or perhaps they found themselves under budget for the last coupla days and were somehow able to increase their spend)?

Ratio about 5:1.

Interesting side note. I had several all time highs this month. My best day ever was on the 23rd, then again on 24th. This grew again each day on the 27th, 28th and 29th.

OK, that may only be interesting to me.

as pointed out by someone else, it seems that the end of the month is showing the best days. Mine also follows this trend.

worst: mar.5, best: mar.29

Could it be because of clicks or revenue that were held back during the month?
