There are thousands of CMS's and blog systems out there, so I doubt if anyone could answer that question. Maybe you could specify what you mean by 'best for Adsense'.

Welcome to WebmasterWorld, btw!

Hello Servant,

Welcome to WebmasterWorld!

Unfortunately it is for the members of WW almost impossible to decide for others which CMS would be the best in a specific situation. Furthermore some of the members here might have commercial reasons to advice a specific piece of software.

My advice is to go to [cmsmatrix.org ] where you can select one or more CMS systems. The pros and cons of these systems can be compared and you can decide for yourself which one matches your interests best.

My one

I wrote it since 1997

I made my living mainly by seminars in the promotion department from companies teaching them my CMS and how to built their sites with it.

Now many detail improvments for AdSense.

For example, a typical feature is the double
menu system for chapter menu and pages in chapter.

For the remaining space below the menu,
I wrote last week an automatic add distribution system to use best the remaining space.

If you don't need dynamic pages in fact, those who produce html output must work better than php output ones.

Just make sure your CMS lets you:

Specify metatags ( They do seem to make a difference )
Create SEO friendly pages
Place your adsense banner in specific locations.
- you need to test your banner placements.

Any CMS that allows you to provide or modify templates for the generated pages should be fine.

I use Plone and custom PHP scripts for my Adsense sites, with no problems whatsoever.
