In the last 9 months I have earned $328.16 (£171.567). Although it's only been recently that I've applied AdSense too all pages on my websites.
**This information has been suplied for TAX reasons**
It would be more useful (rather than idle boasts/banter) if people mention the site niche they're in - without mentioning the url of course! The amounts may be a little more meaningful/useful then... and people can compare themselves to others in their niche.
Travel - information-driven site around $400 a month on average.
Wow stuartmcdonald, that's a sum that I'm aiming for. How long has your travel site been operating for and how long have you been using Adsense. Also do you run Adsense on every page?
i just started putting up adsense ads in any real substance on my site 4 days ago. I've earned $144 in the 4 days. My goal is to earn $10k from adsense in the next 12 months. We'll see what happens when I get them up on all the pages by the end of the month, though traffic will drop later this month. I'm a sports site.
Site operating about 18 months
Adsense almost 12 months
No - maybe 60% of the pages.
$300 last month
Running AdSense for about 8 months on hobby site.
I have never in my life put in so many hours, for so little pay, as in my quest for AdSense dollars.
Yet the addict is not about to stop. If AdSense continues to dole out it's meager pittances, I will remain addicted.
I know what you mean Sally, in the last few weeks I've turned into an Addict too. All I can think about now is making money through AdSense & Affiliates. My two websites were hobby sites (before I knew you could make $ without selling online) but now Google seems to be picking them up and I have a 3rd in the 'SandBox' stage.
From next month I plan on spending 30 hours a week on my sites along with my normal job, then when (if) the website earnings increase, I should swap my work hours for website hours.
I would love to be able to quit my day job by late 2006 and do this full time. That's why I started this thread, to see if others are doing it and roughly how much their earning.
mine only $160 last month .in jan it was $260....
this month might reach $100........
I was making a lot (enough for most to live off) but now the Adsense money has dropped 80%.
Now that I see so many people willing to swap real jobs for Adsense, I suppose I'll just keep my day job. Let me know how it goes.

Where are the UPS members?!
Looking at that run of numbers gave my skin crawl! I assume those falls were not a reflection of traffic adjustments...
I'm relatively new to AdSense:
That's my first and, with EFT in place, hopefully my last cheque from AdSense! Hopefully not my last payment...
My first month. Earning so far:
Tuesday, March 1, 2005 $131.61
Wednesday, March 2, 2005 $187.05
Thursday, March 3, 2005 $139.69
Friday, March 4, 2005 $168.52

Tuesday, March 15, 2005 $218.68
Not very much traffic change! The CTR changed MASSIVLY. Right now my CTR is 1/10th what it was from the high. (Half of that might be from adding ads at the bottom of the page that get very few clicks.) My ECPM also crashed when I added second ads.
Oh crud! Something tells me I should try geting rid of the bottom of the page ads! Low CTR might= Lower earnings per click!

my site aint so big
its been up for a few months and just two days ago the account broke $100.
traffic has been steadily growing though, and i should be breaking $100 every month with in the next two months
meh, "small things are cute. thats why the ladies like me"
Well, I wouldn't be so excited about posting an EXACT amount, makes it easier for Google to figure who in the heck you are as there can't be that many earning $337.53. I'd round up or down :)
|You can post only your monthly earnings... |
"You may accurately disclose the amount of Google’s gross payments to You pursuant to the Program"
I didn't see any qualification of gross per day or month specified.
How much do I earn, hmmmm
more than $2000/month and less than $10,000/month
All you need to know :)
I have had months under $2K, and have had months over $10K. Thats all you need to know ;)
I can afford Mcdonalds burger with a drink everyday. That's as good as it gets.
I'm averaging about $1,100 per month now with a Christian portal site.
since were allowed now, just got my first payment of $330... last month i racked up about $360.
Mine is about $200 per month for crafts + TV & celebrities sites. Recently put adsense on a dating site as well, but had to remove it for some technical reasons.
Just wondering, those of you who earn thousands from Adsense, do you have any other advertisement on your site? I have other ads that pay MUCH more than Adsense, sometimes 10 times more. I wonder if adsense performs well only if it does not interfere with other, more eye-catchy ads. In my case, performance from best to worst:
Since no one wanted to share their earnings, I have decided to delete mine.

i am surprised at how better you are doing with Fastclick as compared to Adsense. For me, it's the total opposite.
I'd like to learn some banner ad tips from you, if you don't mind.
i am depressed
my march cpm is much down of feb cpm
traffic almost same,
ctr a little low
earnings per day dropped to half
Last year I frequently hit $600+ per month. This year it's been more like $200-400 per month but it's starting to climb back up.
All I will say is this: if I earned in one day what I currently earn in a month, I would quit my job. That's my goal.
Either that or learn to deal 21.
I remember there were postings about photoshop action sites, mortgage info sites etc making over a million a year. I'm sure there are many many people out there making a lot.
As for me:
Jan 31, 2005 2,910.19
Then came Allegra:
Feb 28, 2005 $1,295.68
Looking forward to getting back where I was!
