Any Blacklist of domains
I want to buy one

I know a guy who has a lot of nice domain names which I'm interesrted in one of them. I know he's banned by adsense, and he used to run googles ads on most of his domains. He says that he'd registered with his main domain name and only that domain is recognized by google, but I'm afraid if I take any and put my code on that, google disables my account. May I trust it or better to go with a new name?

Any site suspended by Google is blocked from running ANY AdSense on it - it just won't display at all. It doesn't matter if you use your own code, my code or a premium publishers code, AdSense will not display. If an account is suspended, ALL URLs associated with AdSense have this block, not just the site the person applied with.

"If an account is suspended, ALL URLs associated with AdSense have this block, not just the site the person applied with."

That brings up an interesting situation. Lets say a publisher has 4 sites with AdSense and I purchase one of those sites and put on my AdSense code.

Subsequently the publisher gets banned from AdSense. Would the ads still appear on the site I purchased, and would the rest of my sites be in jeopardy?

Basically when an account gets banned by AdSense, are only the sites active at the time of the banning banned or are all sites ever associated with the account banned?

I would guess they would check for exclusivity (was the other persons code removed the same day that yours was added?) and probably do a whois check. It does also raise a question about AdSense revenue sharing situations, and is one of the reasons I don't do it, and don't recommend it as an option to others.

Thanks all.
It's a long time I read here, but as I could find all my answers I've not registered till today! So lazy, no?

Anyway, that sounds good; I may ask that guy for a ftp access and put a simple page to check if it's banned or not.

But, generally it's not good. I prefer what kandoole does. Their ads does not appear on non-confirmed domains. As I've read it here before it's possible a sick guy puts your codes on a (e.g.) porn page or sth like that. Also I remember a free hosting company that used to use adsense. How can they trust so many unknown users don't violate the TOS?

Google will probably become aware that ads are running on a previously flagged domain anyway, so I would recommend buying the domain and then emailing Google to let them know about the situation (and waiting for a reply).

They will most likely be fine with it, but if you start running ads without giving them any warning you could trigger some red flags. And that's something you definitely do not want to do.

Why not email AdSense support and tell them you intend to purchase the domain, run it properly as you have your other sites, and ask them whether they would lift the ban upon your taking ownership of the site?

Oops! I returned here a little late!
I run my codes on a simple page and the domain dosn't seem to be banned, but as you suggest it's more safe to write about this to G.
Btw, are you sure they ban all the domains? May be they don't book all and this just makes them keep an eye on me!
May be the safest way is buying a new (though longer) name.

What if I put adsense on a site when I was in good standing and the new owner put their own adsense on it after the site was sold if I then get banned will his site get banned as well. I know that sentence is a whopper of a run on but I don't know of any other way to ask the question.

Nope, not the case.

I bought a couple domains from a guy who got blacklisted. The primary site (the one he applied with) will not show ads. The other ones show ads just fine.

I purchased a domain from someone who was adsense banned. I just emailed google and explained I am the new owner and they allowed my adsense to be displayed on the new site...
