Overture on AdSense :)
Any advertising is good advertising

 7:55 am on Aug 28, 2003 (gmt 0)

Visited a site today and saw "Ads by AdSense". One of the ads was "Overture CPC program" :)

PS: :-D Today was my site's busiest day ever (with real users. Except for the strange day when a bot crawled all my site and sent the pages served counter to around 15,000 on that day...)

Just goes to show that if you have a good product, then there is no harm in making money showing the alternatives to prospective customers...

...safe in the knowledge that they will take your product in the end.

I have wondered if the two would cooperate. We may have our answer.

It may have said 'overture cpc program' but it may have been for a company that offers to help someone else do the program. Wonder where the link really went to?

Also take into account that Overture has a program that pays you for getting them advertisers. It probably was an affiliate.

Nope... The link was to overture.com...

And I browsed the site until I got to the registratio page, where it has a big warning "You have to complete this in 40 minutes or your will be logged out. The process should take only 30 minutes".

30 minutes to enroll on a program?
