Eh? Are you saying that Google deliberatly set out to cancel your site and keep the advertisers for themselves? If so - well, they're a multibillion dollar company, you're probably not.

Are you certain the "blue ads" (google sponsored links I assume) were not already visible at the top of the page, before your site got traffic?

Im sure yesterday there were no blue ads but today there were 2 and i was not mad only at the fact that they probably decided to place the ad because of me. but more so cause my site got dropped as to funnel my traffic to those sites. and im speding money on flyers in the community to promote my site. so to me ad sense is a complete sham. what i have seen so far that is

when my site first went up there were no adwords or no blue ads in the top as i started directing more people to my site. I guess the google people are telling the major advertising spenders to try this keyword or try that keyword cause it gets alot of hits. then drop my site so those new sites get some meaningful traffic. but what they dont know is that my traffic is my traffic and they are going to my site. Lol thats the sad part I dont know what kinda of sales agents google hires but maybe some of them need an ethics class

I think adsense will be dead in a few years. IN fact i think the interenet as we know it will be soon we all are about to be swamped by corpoarte spam. 85 percent of sites dropped from all search engines. Its coming. The new world order. LOL

No offense, I think you have a very small picture of the program(or an over inflated opinion of your sites worth) Google doesn't spend time trying to get rid of "little guy" sites. The reason I say that is if you are passing out "flyers" to get more visibility to your site...it just plain speaks for itself :) No offense, but they don't have time to "pick on you"

| I agree that google probably isn't trying to muscle him, but don't knock the flyers! As soon as I can get some targeted mailing lists I'll be sending out postcards for one of my new sites. With the right topic, traditional marketing can still be pretty effective.

Well hey if people are interested in whats on the flyer then they will go directly to my site. and click on what they need and then the advertiser gets a good quality lead. Once u understand the program and the purpose. and the adsense users purpose. then it should work out good. Like i said im just ticked at how it went down with my site. and the other advertisers. It just seems weird. And by the way i have a question. Is it ok to make directory sites strictly using ad words. I saw the post about the wedding site and thought the same. if someone is intereted in weddings they will go to site click on the ad and voila the advertiser has a potential customer. I dont see why some bored person would look up a site on wedding planning. and not really be interested. I notice too that too many people are so concerened with trying to keep the other guy from making a buck that it is almost fair to say that we are not even countrymen. Just because somebody gets it popping with adsense and has a cheesy site but targeted is no reason to say those type of sites should be banned. advertising is one big game anyway. thats why .001 second flashes on a movie screen of a big mac can make u wanna go to mc donalds. And no company can honestly say that it cant use out side advertisers in order to maintain revenues even if its from some cheesy site. maybe the person looking up the site is cheesy themsleves. even cheesy peopple have money. even people that cant spell have money. so hey

FLyers are only sweet if u have a trustable domain name like i have. if u have a flyer with a cheesy domain name who the heck will go. It is one of the perks of having a hot domain name. And yes if i saw a flyer that had something i was interested in then i would make a mental note of the website adresss and check it out at work. the fact is my domian is very easy to remember. and has credibility to it. which explains why big name companies are advertising on my google realestate under my domain name keyword. I got the top company in my industry running ads under my domain name keyword so it has to be hot eh. whoopee im gonna be a millionaire

memnon, your not making very much sense. First, I hope your site had better english than the way you write. Second, flyers are a good way to get 5-10 visitors a day if you flyer like a maniac, so forget about flyers, your not selling tangibles here. PPC or natural traffic are the wya to go. Fianlly G wont bother pulling moves like this, they have no time to do that, and if they did it, it would have been widespread and we would have known about it You probably violated the TOC
