My first check from Google contained both my name, "Payee Name", and my site name, which I entered in the "Company Name" field. The teller at my bank gave me a hard time because both names were on the check. How can I have just my name on the check? I was thinking of leaving the company name field blank. Has anyone tried this?
Many people have put the name they use to cash checks as both the personal name and the company name. In the account management, it says Payee name now, but I am unsure if it said that last month, when everyone had checks made out to both the personal name and the company name together.
I asked Google about this - my name is filled in as the Payee, and the website name in the company field. Google replied (within hours) and said that the cheque would be sent to just my name. It looks like it's just done as the payee.
