I have to admit I have not seen many but I have seen a few on one our sites.

I go to the page and where the ad should be is the message.

Timeout - This is only a partial webpage
on a white background.

Now of course the pages are normal and complete, and if I click refersh the targetted ad appears. Weird.

I have also noticed this thing.. not sure what is going on.. I assume.. they might be trying to target ads by geography (as in adwords advertiser has this option)... and for sometimes they are unable to catch the location or whatever..

But I am sure Google is also aware of this problem.. and looking into it :)

I think that the problem may be to do with picking up context/keywords on a new page, as I had this message yesterday when I loaded up a new weblog. The new material would have been presented 'cold' to AdSense, so it had no idea what ads to place. By the time I refreshed the page it was working fine.

Thanks for your input Denis, is appreaciated.

I do not think that is the problem however as we add around 20 - 30 pages per day and check each one uploaded which at first show PSA and then a few minutes later (at the moment) targetted ads.

So I think it is something else, perhaps a glitch on our or G's servers.

It is only a small problem though as I have only seen a few.
