No change here, except that yesterday's EPC was my best since April 1. (It was back up to March levels, which was probably just a fluke.)

I've seen a nice recovery, back to pre-April rates, with higher CTR and higher EPC. Ads are highly relevant now, with a huge improvement over the beginning of the month.

EFV, I've had a good EPC yesterday as well. There are some sites that seem to have similar fortunes in terms of the big turns in tide. Though our IT related sites are on a subject widely different to yours they seem to generally mirror what's happening on your site, whether it's on earnings, targeting or PSAs. I have another smaller site that is seeing the same 21/04 problem posted here. In fact that site has mirrored the same rise and fall in fortunes as some of the other posters here. Anybody for a theory that there are two major categories in Adsense?

Here's what's different for me: I introduced channels to my ads. Earnings per click have dropped most dramatically on 1 particular site (by almost 80%) since 21st April. Here's what's the same: Targeted content Relevant ads (as far as I can tell - I can only see UK targeting.... anyone know if there's a way to see what is seen by a US visitor?) Impressions (this one site gets about 3000-5000 per day) Click through ratios Any ideas what it could be?

In my case I have noticed this major EPC drop while preserving the same CTR, targeted ads and no PSAs. I have checked Ads on my site(s) from where I live in Egypt, and from my dedicated server in Texas, US - no difference. That might be an idea for annii on checking Ads from outside, AFAIK, there is no other way. Regarding the problem, I can guess that Google has implemented a new technique that caused this major drop in EPC for some of us and caused also the 23th of April PSA disaster.

Day 6 - still tons of PSA ads [ that dilute ctr]. EPC is decent but # of clicks is small. <snip> Anyone else still serving lots of PSA's on important pages? [ high PR, updated daily, many backward links from sites with similar content] Thanks because Im sweating it out here. Yep saw exactly the same, clicks static, impressions static, earning way down since 21st (approx 60% drop). Up until the 21st April had been our best month, we saw a massive increase in revenue at the beginning of the month when others saw a drop. We're in the UK. f

| An indicator of ongoing results and tweaking from 'black thursday'? I wonder if adwords advertisers are now seeing the cost reduction.

EPC has be rock steady all year. Now, if my math is correct, there have only been four working days since the 21st. Certainly not long enough to establish a trend. Wait a couple of weeks that then post your results.

My figures continue to swing wildy, neither much better or worse in the last few days. Annii: To view your site as people in another country would, set your browser to use a proxy server in that country. There are lists of these around. I'm probably not allowed to post a link so do a Google search for "public proxy server" My US ads tend to be a lot better targetted than my UK ones, possibly because there are more advertisers.
