Almost exactly the way I wanted them. Great job! <Dream_mode> a way to upload a list of url/channel pairs manually associate urls with channels, upload, see past stats by channel </Dream_mode> Ain't gonna happen though..

I must admit I am disappointed that you can only have up to 20 channels. https://www.google.com/adsense/new has all the new features.

Plenty enough for A/B testing... Athought the setup is a bit messy. What are the numbers for? Why not jsut let us put the channel info info the js without pre-registering it? And why not include different domains as standard channels? Basically, why not use the well established system of campaigns, and invent something more complex and less powerfull? SN

killroy, they need the tracking code, for the stats server. To do what you want, would create an insane amount of overhead.

20 channels?!? all used up. hmm, guess I'll have to test bit by bit if I want to get fine grained.

Google has again done brilliantly. If you have one or two big sites you can easily track groups of pages. If you have multiple sites you can do site wide tracking. Or you can mix it up - track site wide and small groups of pages in various parts of your sites. Google has given publishers tracking without allowing people to be able to manipulate things too much. Exactly what we need.

The user interface for the reports is REALLY BAD. That is the thing that strikes me most on this. But it is nice to have additional stats of course. Projections and charts like on the AdsenseCharts site would have been nice too.

I have already started setting it up. I will have channels for different content subject areas and a few special channels for testing the return on specific pages or types of ads.

Three cheers for the Adsense Team! Hip Hip Hooray! Hip Hip Hooray! Hip Hip Hooray! They implemented almost exactly what I had requested back in November--a way for small, part-time publishers to manually enter special script codes to track different portions of their site or sites. Its tracking without creating multiple accounts, and it should work for the bigger fish too. I can't wait to start seeing the first details of my earnings breakdown. Then I'll be able to add to the content that has the most earnings for the time spent creating it!

While this is great, I was thinking Google was already tracking stuff on a site by site basic. No need to change the ad code... Oh well, that was asking too much. I'm excited!

My first reaction was "Great!". Then I thought "Only 20 channels?" A few seconds later I said, "20 channels is plenty - now I have something to do tonight". The channels are an outstanding feature - A+!
