AdSense vs. AOL (Javascript question)
Can all AOL browsers display Adsense?

A friend of mine told me that his AOL 4.0 doesn't support Javascript. True, it's old version, but I am wondering when AOL decided to support Javascript, and whether or not you have to manually enable it. Does AOL consider it a security risk?

If AOL defaults to Javascript = off then we could potentially be losing a lot of potential clicks. Am I correct in assuming that these older versions wouldn't be capable of displaying AdSense?

Also, how do you quote part of someone else's message? I still haven't figured that out! Thanks.

I *think* it was AOL's version 5 that began javascript support. Any AOL prior to that would not support javascript. If the browser does not support javascript (or the user turns of javascript) it will not display the ads.

You can view all style codes [webmasterworld.com] including the quote function - I don't know how to show it here without turning it into an actual quote ;)
