Yes, or at least the amounts are showing in the Payment history. Experience shows that the cheques may be actually sent a few days later.

Belgium and Holland are always the first to get the cheque, UK is two days later (going off the past few months).
Nice to see, its a week early.

Yep Wednesday, January 21, 2004 Payment sent. Canada
Payment was processed on Jan 21 2004. I think cheque will be received within a week for most people.
This place is amazing.
Well done on discovering that. Thanks for letting us know.

Yes, I can see it for me also .. but .. question for you guys .. because this will be my first cheque I have no previous experience ... Does the amount on the cheque match your earnings when you look for the month? because it does not for me .. is just a very few bucks but I'd like to know if this is a regular issue... don't want to bother Google guys for the little amount missing.
For me it has always been within 1 cent thus far (based on 7 months worth of experience of it) and it is usually spot on.
Mine seem to always be off by 2 cents (in Google's favor). I guess G doesn't appreciate my two cents worth. <snicker>. Seriously, though, it does slightly annoy me.
So far all mine have been bang on what my adsense earning reports show me.

Doesn't "necessarily" mean that at all. Experience varies for each of us. All the description says is “Payment sent.” Sent to who? Sent to the disbursing agent is who. The disbursing agent then must process, print and mail the checks. According to Google’s guidelines, the disbursing agent has until the end of the month to mail the check. From past posts on this forum it appears that the checks are sent out over the period of a week or two. Some people in Europe get them pretty quickly and some of us in the USA seem to be at the end of the line.
Here is how our November payment went as an example (which has been typical):
Google posts in our payment history: December 17, 2003 Payment Sent
Check was dated December 19, 2003 which implies that this is the date it was printed.
Check was postmarked December 31, 2003 which indicates the date payment sent “to me.”
Check arrived in my post office box on January 12, 2003.
Mine have taken exactly six days from the date posted to get to me, one was a penny off.
I just take the date posted to mean that the amount's been figured and verified, and that the payment process has started. If they're mailed before the 31st it's a nice time bonus.

Suddenly I had a flashback to the movie office space ....
Let's see when all the people get their cheques. :-) Anybody from India?
For what it's worth, my checks have always been more than the reports show. (Only by a few cents, but it's always a little over.)
Strangely enough, West Coast US seems to get theirs last of anyone in the world. I'll still be waiting on mine for awhile. :-)
I suppose not one of us here has received the Dec cheque, right?
No check yet for me, and no posts that anyone else has received theirs yet. I've practically chained myself to the mailbox waiting for it this month. Maybe if we all chant at the same pre-determined time or something, they will show up? ;-)
=== itching for check ===
Checks are starting to arrive for December earnings:
