Very cool! How long have you been with AdSense? I wonder how many people got this chance? I hope it means they will listen and make the needed improvements, which will help all of us and G too.

They seemed to ask a lot of questions about whether or not user data would be something we'd be interested in seeing. Things that make you go hmm....

I was not using AdSense last year, what kind of GoogleGift did others get? Was it just a few publishers, or what? I did get the survey, I am hoping they will implement some of the features they asked about. That would be awesome.

I took the survey also. Seems some of the questions might have had to do with MFA sites, had to do with being able to better choose advertisers. Can't remember the wording.

I can clear up the question about everyone getting the survey, I did not get it. I have only been with AdSense since Feb 2006 though, so I may not have been deemed relevent.... :)

In addition to the points other members have mentioned, I think Google will also use the survey to sell Adsense Publishers on using AdWords Ads if they do not already utilize it in their marketing mix.... As might be hinted at by the survey questions concerning whether the publisher has ever used AdWords. After All, corporate Google is always looking to increase revenues, and it is easier to sell to people they currently have business relations with than to attempt to acquire completely new clients.

I got a kick out of that one, too. Way to go, Brett! This is the first survey I've participated in. Have they offered one before? If so, did anyone notice any coorelation from questions in the survey to new feautures that were later added?

No Xmas presents, No New Year cards and No Survey either ...... I dont care, as long as my adsense income keeps growing, I dont care. and Webmasterworld doesnt need any further recognition from google. the fact that google guy is here, and is matt, also adsense/adwords advisor. as long as they keep interacting with us on this forum, we know this is the best place to be in. and we know it for sure that google listen to us seriously, whether its timezone thing or supplemental index issue, they have always resonded positively to all serious issues raised here.

I also took the survey - $1000 Visa gift card would be nice! There was a GREAT question "What new feature would you be interested in?" I can't remember all of the selections, but one of them was "Have advertisers learn more about your site"
I think I clicked "Very Interested" for all 6 of the proposed new features. They had some great new ideas.
The survey took about 40 minutes.

I received and completed the AdSense survey. It was nice to know they are interested enough in feedback to put together such a survey. One encouraging aspect was they seemed to ask whether I wanted more control over which advertisers appear on my site several times. Hopefully that means they are considering a corresponding feature.
