I just noticed them a couple of hours ago.
9:32 pm on May 4, 2006 (gmt 0)
Where do I find them?
9:36 pm on May 4, 2006 (gmt 0)
where do you think? :-)

I see Picasa, but I don't see the other one.

The Picasa 468 banner is not cropped right and shows grey around the corners.

Are you based outside the U.S.? The Google Pack ads are available only in English (U.S.), and "will only be visible to users located in the United States." Google might not even offer them to non-U.S. publishers.
9:51 pm on May 4, 2006 (gmt 0)
Yes I am not located in the US. I think that's the reason, however my site is in English and has 90% US traffic. That restriction does not make sense at all; for they'd be filtering traffic anyway. I hope ASA reads this.

Why can't Google come to realize not ALL WEBSITES HAVE WHITE BACKGROUNDS. We need MUCH MORE versatility on selecting backgrounds so their ads don't look retarded on our websites.
Please. Google. Can we get some better choices on backgrounds, and make the graphics so when a new background is chosen, it won't look completely ugly when we do select a new background color.

I responded to an email from google saying that i can change the hex code for color sitewide for my Adsense,
and also asked if they will allow for the changing color of the background as some future time, so if i get a response, i will let you all know.

And wouldn't you know it, I go to log in and create some new links, and lo and behold, there are some more colors, the grey definitely goes with my site. ALRIGHT!

I am based outside USA. So I do nt find option to put Picasso ads on my website. :(
3:04 pm on May 7, 2006 (gmt 0)
I don't see option about Google Pack, only Picasa.

The new gray version banner that reads "Safer Browsing. Faster Searching. Get the free Google Pack" has the very important word "free" in it, whereas the original white background version just reads "Safer Browsing. Faster Searching. Get the Google Pack"
Can the original version please be updated?

I wonder if the restrictions on Google Pack referrals ("a Windows user from the United States, who has not previously installed any component of Google Pack") include anyone who has previously installed RealPlayer - which is an optional component of Google Pack?
Seems like there must be a LOT of of folks who have RealPlayer installed.

I hope Picasa performs better than all the other Referrals. I have a well visited Picture database ... if it doesn't perform there no one will want it. :(

I have a photo/photo sharing software site so I thought Picasa would be a good thing to promote. A dollar per install seems pretty good for free software. Well, notice it says, "Up to 1 dollar". My first commission was a whopping 10 cents!
So what criteria has to be met to get the full dollar, and why is it not displayed prominently on the adsense website?
4:46 pm on May 8, 2006 (gmt 0)
My first conversion is 0.10 dollars too :\
