| better rate for this month |
| I assume you are paid by local currency cheque? I'm paid by EFT and can't see any option to display the local currency value of the transaction. Therefore, I'm not clear on the nature of the change, if any, that has been made to the system as far as EFT is concerned. Are Google still transferring electronically in dollars which the bank converts to local currency? If so, how does the rate Google use for writing cheques compare with the rate banks use for converting electronic transfers, does anyone know?

Yes Payment link in India! but.... it may be a while before I actually get the cheque and it clears (standard delievery - can't afford secure right now!). Anyone from India know how long before I get it? And how many days for it to clear? Is it a local/national check or international? Flip

| If you are receiving the check in local currency it will be clear by bank in 2-4 bank days.if its in USD it may take 25-40 days.

Payment India 44.40 : 1 Standard delivery of cheque will take anywhere from 4 days to 25 working days. After you receive cheque and deposit in your bank, it’s a normal local cheque clearing provided you have Citibank branch in your city as Google provide Citibank bankers cheque.

Drat it, still PIP on mine (UK). Do they process payments alphabetically, by surname or something? That might explain things! :o
