I Am Banned by Google
And I Don't Know Why

I sent Google an email alerting them of a possible click attack on one of my blogs on 13th March 06. I posted here at this forum asking for help. This is the post [webmasterworld.com...]

Google then replied telling me basically that I have done well by informing them and that they have absolute discretion in disabling accounts and also it is imperative that I adhere to all their rules. They will monitor the situation.

All is fine and well...until today...kaboom!...out of nowhere came this email...this dreaded email "Account Disabled" for invalid clicks. As far as I know, there have not been any suspicious clicks or high CTR since that 1000% CTR incident and I have already removed adsense ads on that blog immediately at that time and informed Google.

Anyway, I have written Google an email telling them I am absolutely clueless about why I got banned. I don't think I will get the reason, but I just hope that they will go through the evidence again because I am totally honest and have not even misclicked any of the adsense ads as I am very careful. Yet....

Well, just to rant..

I will keep you guys posted on the outcome...hopefully a positive one..

On another note, what alternatives do I have if I do not live in US. I guess my options are limited. I knew that from the start and never would do anything to threaten removal of adsense. None of my family members and friends even know I have adsense...still...

I wondered if I would get banned if I did not inform Google of the 1000% high CTR...sometimes...I just wonder..whether I have done the correct thing by being honest...really...whats the point?

It's sad, but what can you do?

Google people disable publishers' accounts as they please.

So what if you had invalid clicks (e.g. repeated clicks and such? Everybody has them.

It's sad, but what can you do?

Billionaires are ruling this world, while poor people are kicked and knocked everywhere.

Nobody going to help u here.

Because Google is cheat with smaller publishers. Few days back i've also inform them about click attact at my website and after few days they banned me. :(

So this is one side game (obviously google side)

Maybe what happens to you guys is that when you email Google to alert them about a possible click attack they perform a manual review and then ban you because they see that your sites are really crappy.

Well said. And I'm wondering why always the small advertisers experience click attacks and not the bigger ones.

When I see a post saying "one of my blogs" I immediately think that this is MFA. Most blogs I come across are drivel.

Unfortunately, we can't really do anything for you as your problem is with Google and the resolution has to be arranged with them.

Fortunately, we have some great posts on things to do if one should find their AdSense account banned. If you were innocent and had not violated Google's AdSense TOS, there are some things you can do to try to get reinstated.

Please read the following threads for some good advice.
