How a million adsense bucks can be made through psychological approach?

A friend told me " The only way to make money on adsense is to leave your visitor longing for something more, which in my opinion is not good business."

I couldn't believe that it was true, but it is. I found that this idea can fill your pocket with adsense mega bucks. The psycho analysis reveals the urge of knowing facts will lead any one to take action ( than quit). That is a basic human tendency. And you can use that to get clicks.

Well tell me, why do you buy products or services?
Some are out of necessary while some cases we make decisions to buy one kind of product against another and our choice can be influenced, principle reason for buying something is 'out of necessity' but you make a choice, conscious or otherwise. This is a basic psychological step force people to click on adsense ads. The ad links must be like the links in your web page. Some times people think the ads are part of your site's content so they click because the information is relevant to your site.

The researchers found that the average online household checks or sends e-mail messages 4 times a week, visits Internet sites for hobbies or to play games once or twice a week and visits auctions sites 3 times a month. and about 35 percent of online households buy clothing online, 28 percent buy books and magazines and 23 percent buy music; less than 10 percent buy flowers, tickets or pay for travel.

Good! You can create your very own pages with adsense according to the above said calculation by giving visitors multiple choices (with adsense ads) and influence them (subconscious mind ) to choose one of the ads ( click). This must go with TOS.
The idea is to write or use information that would provide value to the visitor, should help improve their life in some manner. The first step is to create a topic that is in high demand that people have an interest in.

Content of the web page : The most amazing technique that can be use to create dazzling web pages is "inverted pyramid" where the writer places the most important information about the content in the first paragraph the top of the inverted pyramid and the least important information at the end of the story -means the bottom of the inverted pyramid.

Create web pages according to this inverted pyramid information technique. The visitor will get important information in the first paragraph force them to stay in until get full. At the end you can leave them longing for some more information ( additional information) and naturally they will click on adsense ads. Visitors often scan the first few lines or paragraphs and if it grabs their attention they'll go through
the rest of the page. If the lead fails to capture their attention, they move on quickly, and you've lost a click.

Another tip is an email newsletter which takes a standard approach to layout and content using a "story approach" to communicate will help you boost adsense income and opt in leads But if you go with the crowd, then you have be that much better to stand out from that same crowd. You can use similar techniques and can get similar response. If you tell your visitor what they are probably thinking while they visit your site they will be amazed. This strategy will usually trigger their own subconscious mind to read the page and click on ads.

Finally just analyze your previous results with click through and number of visitors, so you can plan for the future. Make sure you take current trends into account. This can create stream line viral traffic to your pages. with out any ads you will get traffic and income. Many people fail in life, not for lack of ability or brains or even courage but simply because they have never planed actions or organized their energies around a goal.

Add an incentive to your viral marketing request and you dramatically boost the odds your customers will make a referral. You can sell some thing useful for a reasonable price and offer 90% ( of the income) to those who refers. The key is to keep your incentive intrinsic to your audience, so the referral brings you a qualified subscriber (opt in). Listen good viral marketing wouldn't be viral at all: it would be curative. It would help us understand or engage some aspect of human experience that we might otherwise not find.

The real advertising is an art of selling things to some one who does not need but it tends to create needs by pushing on several psychological device. Similarly we need to push them through their subconscious mind to get valuable clicks ( adsense ads) and make them refer their nears and dears ( to our web pages).

I believe that it is possible to accomplish but not going to be easy. But the only way you are going to get it is to work hard at it. It is said that there are two kinds of failures those who thought and never did, and those who did and never thought. Success is the sum of small efforts, repeated day in and day out. It is time to break through the barriers that have held you back and held you down. what do you think?

My most effective approach is to write articles that explain all the benefits of owning a widget:

- How a widget will make their life easier.
- How a widget will help them save money.
- How a widget will provide endless hours of pleasure.
- Why widgets are actually a lot more affordable than they probably think.

In other words, I try to use an article to generate a burning desire in the visitor to buy a widget. Hopefully, they will then click on one or more of the handy Google ads labeled "Widgets For Sale!".

These types of pages work extremely well for me. I have many general information pages as well, but the "pre-sale" pages do the best by far.

" The only way to make money on adsense is to leave your visitor longing for something more, which in my opinion is not good business."

I found this out by accident. I wrote several well documented articles about a subject I liked. I spent a great deal of time trying to ensue that I answered every question a reader might have.

I published them and waited for the money to start rolling in. Nothing happened. Although, I didn’t know it at the time, I had done such a good job that no one need to go anywhere else. I had answered all their questions.

Needless to say I was disappointed and discouraged.

My next batch of articles on another subject was less concise. I was not nearly as motivated as before. As a result, the articles were less that perfect and considerably shorter. Income started rolling in immediately.

Both groups of pages received similar traffic so I couldn’t explain the difference. After thinking it over and doing some follow up test I came to this conclusion. The first set of articles gave the reader no reason to look further for an answer. The second set did.

Now I keep my content shorter and I am purposely vague in certain areas.

The perfectionist in me has not resolved the conflict between building less that perfect content to make money and the desire to make the best content possible and collect little money. Right now I am going for the money…

" The only way to make money on adsense is to leave your visitor longing for something more, which in my opinion is not good business."

It's also not true.

As Efv pointed out in another thread, the best way to get Adsense clicks is to write on a topic something which will automatically end up with the user making a click.Like, writing about India's history might be unsuccessful Adsense-wise, but writing about Indian historic tourist spots will end up in the visitor making a click on the travels ads that come alongside.

Acme,

Interesting post, thanks for taking so much time to write down your ideas.
However, I would mention some details that limit the possibilities of this model.

"Another tip is an email newsletter...(etc)"
"This strategy will usually trigger their own subconscious mind to read the page and click on ads... (etc)"

As I believe, Adsense prohibits the use of Adsense code in e-mails, so this one is not going to work.
(That is, if I understand corectly what you said)

"Add an incentive to your viral marketing request...(etc)"
"You can sell some thing useful for a reasonable price and offer 90% ( of the income) to those who refers... (etc)"

I don't know if I correctly understand what you mean, but Adsense prohibits the use of incentives to click ads.

Don't get me wrong, I am not out here to only look at the negative side of your model, I rather appreciate this post. Just wanted to add a few possible limitations to the model...

OP is really good, gives us food for thought. As a general rule of thumb, create an eye catching web site with brainstorming content that ends abruptly leads to adsense ads, naturally tend people to click (to continue). This model will work. Thanks acme for this good thought out

On viral marketing - If created and used properly, this can create millions of visitors and nothing can match it in effectiveness as it is based on personal suggestions, much the same way an editorial carries more weight than an advertisement because it’s coming from more trusted source.
But how long it takes to get to the end of the road depends on how much gas you put in, how hard you press the accelerator, how well you steer and how good your map is.

All the best

>" The only way to make money on adsense is to leave your visitor longing for something more, which in my opinion is not good business."

Its excellent business if you are selling clicks.

You are laying a trail for what is basically hunting behaviour. Every click from first search to purchase the 'scent' of the solution must get stronger! With Adsense that purchase is necessarily on someone else's site and that purchase is what you leave them wanting.

People come to me because they are lost in the middle of my specialist subject. Terribly confused, some of them, and prey to every snakeoil saleperson out there. They feel a burning need to solve what can be some quite distressing problems - which is the very beginning of the Info Trail. They catch the scent of a solution via my own advertising, then when they get to my site I tell them which solution is best and why and thus the scent of the solution gets stronger. The thing they leave via Adsense 'longing for' is that correct solution, with pennies clutched in eager little paw!

Well the theory is correct - no doubt about it. But this will not apply to every website or should I say it can be worked out even better. The reason I say this is because sometimes it's more important to keep the visitor on your website than try to get that first click out - which may give you less money cause it has lower probability of converting than what I am going to propose.

What you are proposing is a slightly higher version of a scraper website. Just some information [little or more] and then the hunt for the click. Don't mean to be rude or anything by saying that but it does not add to branding your website nor does it help in gaining those references for the viral marketing you mentioned.

Most users browse very fast and it’s split second decisions which rule the Internet world. There can be two things the user can do when we use your approach. Read the information you provided and then go back to the search engine to search for a keyword you mentioned which didn't occur to them [it happens a lot] OR if you are lucky you have the keyword in one of your google ads which will attract them immediately – but here too there’s a chance the ad may not quite have that hypnotic effect if it has hints of being a scrapper or other factors.

What I think is this. Your website should know what those keywords will be and have specific articles on those keywords. This way when the visitor land on that specific keyword article and a slightly bigger piece of the cookie he is even more ready to make a move into an ad - which WOLLAH contains the exact keywords because the article is targeted – and there are more than one ad which hit the bulls-eye. So you reduce the amount of time the visitor spends to find the product or service and naturally you gain credit for that - and perhaps that referral we talked about earlier.
