Hi,

Does Google allow adsense ads to be inserted in a newsletter?

I am sending HTML format newsletters containing content, special offers for my web site etc. Each newsletter also contains an article or tip that should result in a well targetted adsense ads being displayed.

I suppose I could put the newsleter on a page on my site, then in my emails just send a link to that page. However, I was wondering if I could put the adsense code into the HTML of the newsletter I email out. Would that work? Is it allowed? If allowed, how would adsense determine the ads to show, given the newlsetter will not crawled by googlebot.

Cheers

There's a bit of a loophole, though. If you use a service like Feedblitz, you could send out your Adsense for Feeds ads throught the email. Google isn't letting anyone else into the beta right now, but there are other providers that will sell ads for RSS feeds, like Pheedo.

if the newsletter is read on your website, YES.
In other word if you send a link to read your newsletter.

Hoping i'm clear.

Thanks. Looks like I can have the newsletter on my web site and simply email a link to it. I've reread the ToS and that seems fine.
