Be patient and wait. Google's Adsense team were probably just out of the office at the weekend, and they probably have a big list of applicants to get through.

I was approved within two hours but I guess it depends on their workload.

Just wait a bit, it's probably because of the weekend.

I am waiting waiting n waiting! :)

It is probably a coincidence, but a guy I talk to here applied for Adsense a week ago, and he too is still waiting.
His is a big popular site, perhaps causing the opposite effect to what might be anticipated? His view was basically "If they lack the hunger for my site, heaven help the tiddlers". But perhaps it's that they check more carefully on established sites?
I've no idea - I'm just guessing an explanation. Is yours large and established Rose? Or new?
This guy gave up and moved on to seek another advertiser by the way.

Thanks for the info. Mine is a new site (two weeks old) . Not much traffic either.
ITs about website design and SEO services. Also has few articles on stock investments.
PS: I dont know of any other advertisers who pay for click!

Well that's one theory gone then. Two sites, at the opposite ends of the spectrum, stuck waiting for a response for going on a week.
This certainly didn't happen when I signed up. Perhaps they have got too fat after all.

"ITs about website design and SEO services. Also has few articles on stock investments. "
Pick a topic and stick to it. What you have chosen so far are some of the most popular types of pages on the internet excluding porn. You have a lot of work ahead if you plan on being sucessful.

You think 3 days is bad? I have now been waiting EIGHT days and not a whisper. All their info says 2-3 days and I'm getting well brassed off.

To all those who are waiting I would say go to the Adsense site and login with the email address and password you supplied. The account is probably there waiting for you to start using it.
They never sent me a notification so I logged on - and there it was.
Let us know how you go on.

Thanks but no good - but it does seem they have sent an email. See Below!
I get the sneaky suspicion that Hotmail is blocking all emails from Gogle. Any point in reapplying with the domain related emaila ddress or will this lead to complications if they haven't verfied it yet?
Account Not Active
An AdSense account does not exist for this login, as the email associated with the account has not yet been verified. Please verify your email address using the email that was sent to you earlier. If you cannot find this email, you can use the form below to re-send the verification email.

I checked my Hotmail blocked senders list and there was Google sitting alongside adultcams and vegasgirls etc. I don't recall having any reasons to place Google there. Strange! Anyway, now I'm just waiting for the verification!

Just out of interest, see how many other people have google.com blocked by their hotmail. Just to see if there's really a hotmail engineer behind the grassy knoll!
