not really huge. Started in September 2005 and earning from 0 to $1 that month. I started adding more articles and begin exchanging links. After 4 months I observed my revenue going up and now its a four digits earnings just on one site.

Monzilla... I think you will find many success stories here.

A lot of us started with 1 site, making pennies a day. But with a good, quality website; constant updated content; SEO techniques; and good Google ad placement... (or any other ad for that matter)...many sites can hit $$$$.

If you keep it up, it's just a matter of time.

Howdy,

After 3 years of hit and miss on one site, I started another site with a topic I'm interested in and I got my first check from Google. Wow. What a feeling.

Find a topic you love, develop the site with passion, get links and fine tune.

Good luck,

I've started from scratch in August 2005, created a tourism website about a popular holiday destination.

I've created a professional looking site, using just one skyscraper. I have 180 pages indexed by Google.

But, I'm stuck in the Google sandbox for the main keyword, and I'm not getting the traffic I deserve. My eCPM is over $20, but I'm only achieving around $3.50 on average per day.

Still, I'm persisting and confident that my effort will pay off, one day.

I started January 2004 with adsense. My site had been online since about 1999, and I decided to try adsense simply to pay for the web hosting costs. However, it went a LOT better than I could have expected.

First month made the minimum payment, and have had an income every month since. I won't say how much I earn, but last year I took the family to Crete for a two week holiday, and also a week away in Wales. We are going to EuroDisney (or whatever it's called this week) in April, and hopefully to Corfu later in the year. We are also in the position whereby my wife doesn't have to work. Just as well in a way, as finding a job that fits in with a young family is not easy.

wow! amazing stories. I'm just starting with adsense in my blog, only some pennies a day but I'm working hard on a major website with lots of content. I've already planned the publicity stuff (let's say I bet for traditional ways of advertising) so it's just a matter of time for me to have a decent income from adsense with my major proyect.

I started with adsense last march, my site had been going for 3 years. It's just a personal photography site with some reviews, technique and galleries... though it is a specific niche in the photography world.

I started adsense after seeing some guy make $500 from a pretty poor blog in a year and i thought i'd have some of that, i was sure I could make that amount, even a bit more.

I'm close to earning the earlier figure per month. Treated myself to a Rolex submariner a couple of weeks ago.

I actually registered a domain and wrote a page around the keywords. Within a month I was listed on first page of Google and was bringing in over $10 per day. Since then the listing has fallen and I am now not bringing in more then $1 a day from that domain. It really fluctuates, but I was very please at the speed in which I was able to get a high listing on Google.

Using adwords works too, that's why the dimes are available.

What seems impossible is possible.

I had some affiliate websites that ranked well and knew nothing about adsense. I started reading up on it and gave it a try this past April.

When I first started I didn't make enough the first month to have a check cut. I was reading all the messages here and some were saying they made $10,000 a month. I could only dream about that much money.

Dreams do come true...almost I am now waiting for my December check which is over $7,000 Unbelievable.

January is not looking very good. I lost some of my rankings but I'll just start dreaming again :-)

If it happened for me, it can happen for you. I have quite a few websites covering all kinds of subjects. Like the earlier posting said. Find something that interest you and work with that subject. It will be more rewarding and interesting for you.

Good Luck!

I tried adsense just for a laugh to see what was possible to my surprise I received a good level of clicks, but thought nothing about it.

I an ecom site that doesnt do much business so I put it on there and added some content- Things just took off.

Ive now started building content sites that may work well with adsense. Im around half way to my target level of earnings so my current level of income is 50 times my first months money.

Looked at like that its going to be easy making the leap up.

Justa point to note, I have never written pages of my own always used other authors to complete original work.

Wow, this is very encouraging, congrats to all of you Adsensers! As for my own situation, I have a website since 1996 and tried several ppc programs in the late 90's. All rubbish. Last year I tried Adsense and I was amazed to see my website makes 5 to 10 bucks a day. I know it's not very much, but I only update it about once a month. So that's a few thousand bucks a year for very little work! That's why I invest my time in making more websites.

Let me try to give another boost to starters.

I started with Adsens in September 2005 and already had some running affiliate sites which did their job.

After 2 years of self-education I now use the Adwords/Adsense system to create a income. My target is a return of investment of minimal 300%. Positive thing is the 'instant' money you will get if the campagnes and sites are build properly. You don't need to rely on free traffic anymore :)

Good Luck to all starters....remember: Keep going, even when it fails...otherwise I quitted already 2 years ago. You can fail 10 times, but eventually you will find your egg!
