Im sure alot of you have seen websites where they have a little sales pitch, offering say a free ebook etc. After that theres a box to enter your email, once your email is entered you get taken to a landing page.

I would like to know how to set something like that up. Also can you automatically email them the ebook?

I hope this is the right forum for something like this.

How would you create a script where the user would land on a simple landing page, enter their email addresse and that would gain them access to the main site. The mail addresse is then emailed to me and save in a miling list

What I would suggest is you read the info in the post jatar_k supplied the link to, or go to Hotscripts.com and download some of the free form processing scripts to see how form processing works.

Also, forcing someone to type in an e-mail address before they proceed is never going to work unless you have some sort of verification e-mail sent. Otherwise your mailing list is going to have quite a lot of fake e-mail addresses I`m afraid.

Hope that helps.
