Hii,

I run a niche directory..the script for which is written in php with mysql as backend.

I would want to convert them into static html pages. I don't know how this is done !

Since its a dir, each actegory has lots of pages with listings....my main purpose of converting them to static pages is two fold...

1. SEO purposes
2. Have individual control over each of the pages ( this is equally important for me )

Please someone help me as to how I can do it...!

I am sorry, if this topic is already discussed..if so...pls help me the pointers for the same !

Thanks much
Cheers
:)

I found this thread which seems to have a couple of recommendations.

Hi

Have you checked out Smarty [smarty.php.net]

it has the ability to cache dymaic pages and all kinds of cool stuff. Maybe it's an option for you..
