Hi All,

I am planning to learn PHP.

I will be very very thankful to you all if you guide me with proper tutorials and real time examples on PHP.

What is the difference between PERL and PHP?

Which is faster. Do PHP is more user friendly than PERL????

So many questions in my mind...

Thanx in advance for your cooperation.

Savs

Hi savvy,

There's a thread discussing the differences between PHP and Perl here [webmasterworld.com]

For tutorials, you could do worse than PHP Builder [phpbuilder.com]

Please feel free to ask away - there are plenty here to help ;)

Hi Savvy,
There quite a lot of sites out there. Just check out google. I though like to learn mostly off of books and have a book that I think is a great starting point for you.

[amazon.com...]

Check it out and tell me what you think.

Also another good one to get is PHP Developers Dictionary

[amazon.com...]

Also once you begin to get comfortable with PHP pick up
this one:

Hope this helps
