phpmyadmin problems
version 2.2.7

 1:14 pm on Oct 18, 2002 (gmt 0)

Hello. I'm using phpmyadmin 2.2.7 for mysql db. I'm new to database and php, but I've got a plan thanks to WW. The problem is that phpmyadmin is not working properly. I didn't install it, it was already available to me. When I try to "insert" a record the page starts to load then ends somewhere in the middle, like the transmission ended.

Should I just learn to edit my db manually with my own scripts?

If there's anyway you can get it repaired I say do it. phpMyAdmin is sooo handy and command-line coding sooo slow. The GUI offered by phpMyAdmin allows you to get a handle on your db quickly. I have found it priceless.

Wish I could help you with what's wrong but I leave that part of the server to the propellor heads. ;)

Yes, it does seem very easy to operate, even for me. I think I'll email the host. They seem to be pretty helpful for a host offering such low prices.
