If true - IPO prep work. If not true, just more of the rumor mill (remember when they said Google would ipo in 2000?)

No worries, I'm around. Credibility of 0.6, scareduck? Don't you mean 0.006? ;) I like reading FC as much as the next person, but you also have to take that site with a big honkin' piece of salt. :)

But do go read that thread - each and every message. (it's a nice reminder why we built WebmasterWorld).

What exactly are you point us at? With some effort I read the first page and a half and got sick of it. There is no sense or meaning to 95% of the posts.... or is that your point?

I think it is. ;) Read the thread over there -> didn't make any sense to me at all.

I enjoy FC so much :D I even got one of their books autographed. /me ponders if google will sue em for something or another like all the other companies out there....
In anycase, if people are gonna be laid off, GG can come post to WebmasterWorld full time - however then he wouldnt have the button to start the dance by him... hmmMmmmm share the dirties.

Still plenty of gurus, managers and engineers [google.com] needed as far as I can see.
even Japanese PR specialists ;)

I think any ex-google engineer would be out of work for about 15 seconds, before he would be able to start charging $200/hr in consulting fees to SEOs. And California is a right to work state, so any non-competes are worthless if you lay the person off.

Yah, I like dotcomscoop.com. Shame that it's not updated as often as before, but it's still fun to read..

heck, I'd settle for the server assembly technician [google.com] position just to start with Google
(and consider I have worked for such corporate nastyness as AOL which turned me off completely from that environment)
Google easily defies the typical corporate mentality from within, and will maintain that for many years...
hiya GoogleGuy, I'd bet we'd all love to see your top 20 bookmarks :)

f---kedcompany -> beats me why anyone even bothers looking at that rhetoric. Is it meant to be humorous?
I'm totally for "free" speech, but I guess you get what you pay for;)
