Adwords and Overture are hands down the two best in terms of traffic and conversions...

I would suggest AdWords to start. Their interface is a little bit easier to learn and use to get started. Once you have some success with AdWords, then I would work on expanding out to Overture (Yahoo Search). Both have the most qualified traffic.

i'd aggree with seth_wilde do both adwords and overture if you can afford it to see which gives the best roi. I find that some of my sites do better with adwords and some do better with overture. depends on what you are targeting. briggidere

AdWords & Overture. I don't use any others at the moment.
