Has anyone had recent experience with Bid Clix?
It seems they are competition for AdSense. Still, since AdSense is affected by this fraud scandals and suspicions, I,m afraid the same could apply for B.C .

That is why I am referring to recent experiences....
Anyone?

Only had experience of them as a publisher. They show the ip address (or annoyingly part of it) of those who clicked on the ads. I reported that there was too much of a similarity of IP addresses (bear in mind I can't see the last three numbers) and asked them to investigate. Still waiting (2 weeks later). However, I am getting near the minimum payout so I'l let you knwo what happens. They don't appear to have been deleted from my account but I fear the worst when it is time for payout (or am I just being cynical)

Thanks.

I was considering opening an account as an advertiser.
But I am very cooncerned about traffic quality. So I was wondering if anyone as an advertiser experienced a decent conversion from the clicks they delivered.

Also, any other small PPC engines that you had good experience and you would recommend?

What's interested is that Webmasterworld used to delete any thread about #*$! which also perplexed me. I've used them for a number of clients; the whole program is crazy and there is no way to set any real strategy. They are channnel based advertising but there is no editorial review or anything. The prices are really high too and the distribution partners change daily. What was very typical is that I'd be the 5th place ad in channel like finance and receive approx 100 clicks a day for 4 straight days. Then the next day 800 clicks for no good reason at terrible quality.

Bottom line, I would not recommend them. It worked for a while, but then you'd get a huge surge of traffic that would result in 2x the losses than the profits you had accumulated.

Bostonseo hit the nail on the head. For my campaigns, it seemed I was finally doing well and then all of a sudden I would see this huge surge of traffic with no conversions. You'll get tons of emails from your #*$! contact asking how they help you with your campaign, but they never actually do much in the way of improving them.

Electrodish, you are so correct about all the emails from the saying how they've 'improved' things. I always write back that I'd like to try your improved program if you fund a small trial and of course they never acknowledge me email. If a company won't fund a small trial that is sign #1 that they aren't worth your time.

Thank you for your posts.

It sounds like the classic problem with content quality traffic. But CPC is higher even than Google's (on an average!).

Ok, so it seems this one is off the list. Still, has anyone has a good experience with a smaller PPC engine (others than G & O) lately?

Thank you

I ran a trial with them where they matched dollar for dollar.

"I ran a trial with them where they matched dollar for dollar."

Hey Elektrodish how did that trial perform for you? Any legit program will pay 100% of the trial. It's not money to them anyway if you know what I mean. Even when they match the amount you put in they're still making money on you. Just a head's up.

elektrodish how did your trial with #*$! perform? Was it profitable or unprofitable?

I just spoke with a former client that put $300 into trying out B I D C L I X and they had over 600 clicks and NO SALES. This client conservatively even on FindWhat and
Kanoodle would have converted at 1% so that would be 6 sales. NO SALES on B I D C L I X.

I really want to see this company go away. They really are as bad as it gets out there!

What makes me furious about them is how they keep sending emails to former clients saying that they improved their system/program. It's obvious that they have not.

The funny thing is that to test their uality before giving them my money, i tried to sign up as a publisher.
Got free hosting and a free .tk domain and applied to see what would happen. They accepted.

Which such loose standards these guys wont get a penny from me.
