Interesting question, Bradley, I look forward to seeing the replies.. As for my company, I have a list of about 25 keywords in which I pay particular attention to. I have clients who usually target about 10 keywords/phrases and others who will give me a list of a hundred or so. Hope this helps.

I submit around 300, but I'd say there's only 25 or so that get significant traffic.

25 for my largest site, 10 for a small client with a new site, 10 for another client, 15 for the secondary site to the larger site. I find hundreds of good ones in my logs, but it is just so time consuming to track them all!

this all depends how you define 'keywords'. I tend to do 4-10 per product (most products have 2-3pgs), and 2-4 for information only pages. many are variations of the same phrase. in the end the site itself targets hundreds, but they are all related.
