"On submission of the claim by the user, he will be intimated about the success or otherwise of the result."

- Can somebody say if the sentence is correctly structured.

- does "or otherwise" come together as a pharse?

Seems a bit wordy to me:

Why not: Each claim will be responded to in a timely manner.

or

You can expect a timely response to each claim.
