Espotting new rule
change in espottings operating practice

I manage over 700 listings through both Overture and Espotting. A manager at Espotting has now informed me that I must open a brand new account (110) for each new URL submitted. Seeing as I submit several URL's each week this is going to prove very expensive.

I was told that this is going to be/is the new practice for all their advertisers.

Has anyone else come across this policy change?

Purely from a business point of view, it sounds like Espotting are trying to make more money from their existing customers. The main reason for such a move could be that Espotting is feeling the pressure from its competition. However cannibalising its existing customer base is a great way to force people to move to the competition.

>for each new URL submitted

I have a feeling that's for each new DOMAIN (site) and not URL.
