Hi,

I'm developing a site and for some reason the font shows incorrectly in ie5 on the mac. I specify verdana for the body tag in a style sheet, but the mac just uses the default font set in the web browser preferences.

the url is:

<snip>

thanks

al

I've never been on a Mac that didn't have Verdana, and I assume that they all do.

I may be wrong, but I think that the problem is that you're applying the font style to the body tag. Try styling the <p> tag and see how that works.

sorry about posting the url.

Martinibuster you were right. I had the text in td tags and had to specifically apply the style to these as ie on the mac doesnt seem to inherit correctly from the body tag.

Thanks to all who responded.
