TD.INDENT
{
text-align: left;
text-indent: 2px; }

Hi everyone, thats my css code above

Was wondering why 2px indented looks different in IE when compared to NS and Opera.

Anyone knows what could be going on with that!?
Thanks for help

TABLE.LINKS
{ padding-left: 10pt; }

---------------------------------------------
Ok figured it out, i had a padding left on the table where the TD was sitting in

-----------

That means that the padding left doesnt work with NS and Opera?!?

Very confusing..
Does anyone know about Padding left not workin in NS, Opera!?!

Thanks

Hi organic21,

I've never had any problems with padding-left. Have you tried also specifying padding-right, padding-top and padding-bottom to see if this fixes the problem?

Alternatively, you could try the shorthand notation of padding: 0px 0px 0px 10px. The ordering is Top, Right, Bottom, Left.

its ok now, what IE did was adding the left padding to the ident thats why the text seemed to be 10pixels more indented than in NS and Opera

Opera and NS totally ignored the left padding (table attributes) and just indented it by 2px...

very confusing
found my way around it tho
Thanks!
