OK

I looked, really I did, but I can't find any of the prior threads on this forum relating to CSS positioning. Call me 'search engine challenged'

I am looking to ditch tables - and I think it is going to hurt a little to say goodbye.

I have a page that with CSS positioning seems like it will be a little complex. I have a basic understanding but I really want to grasp this concept and embrace it while I go through my 'no-tables-grieving-period'.

Now I know (95% sure) that tedster posted a link a few months ago to a site that had some dang good looking CSS positioning examples. If y'all know of any that are coupled with a good look at the mechanics of how they work, please let me know. I want to go beyond the '3 column layouts'.

Any hoot, thanks for your time and help if you have any to impart.

I would check out [w3schools.com ]. Very good reading. Good luck on your CSS venture. You won't miss tables for long!
