We always see a June slowdown ... and a November-December slowdown. One of our guys has guessed that late April and May are better because people know how much of a tax refund they will be getting. Similarly, he surmises that February is usually pretty good because people have recovered from their holiday spending.

Really depends on the industry... if you're in travel... Jun ,Jul & Aug are usually the best months.

Not this year for me. I am in travel but even after I raised my bid for some ads, traffic from Google became exceptional slow for me on Adwords this week. Raising bid doesn't seem the solution here. I expect it is just a temporary glitch.

Ahh the age old summer slow down - with some minor exceptions (travel) summer always slows down.

World soccer cup?
Many people following the games?

For me traffic seems to be rising again a little after dropping slightly throughout May.

It is more then seasonal because I didn't see a dip like this last year (travel related site). Besides search results are ok.
Alternative explanations for this dip are nice weather in the region, soccer in Europe or maybe more Adwords advertisers (because of the discount new advertisers get on google for the first of fifty euro's).
Adwords gives me one day good traffic and next day it is all time low.

The majority of my clients are travel/tourism related and I compared June and May (for the first 15 days) and my traffic is significantly higher in June than May.

Strangely enough after the temp slow down for the first part of June, this week is off the charts with some of the best numbers we ever had. Go figure.

it all depends what industry you're in. For us, sales go down a bit in the summer months.
