| Adwords Approval & Live Timescale?

Anyone know the timescale, I read in another post it was roughly 48hours and some people a few hours. I have set up a few campaigns for a new site. Ad campaigns have been active since Thursday, how long for approval and for them to show in th results? sent two email since thursday, no replies yet. I thought maybe someone here would know. Thanks,
