I am really stuck. Would really appreciate some input. Is adwords not working properly for anyone else? Do you think google have frozen my account for some reason? If they have, why dont they tell me instead of leaving me toggling campaigns on and off like an idiot, trying to get them working. And a reason would be nice.

If you look at some recenbt threads about adwords not working, seems they are doing quite a lot of account reviews at the moment. When they do an account review they dont tell you, no message, no email, nothing: your account just stops. Nothing you can do other than email them and wait until they are finished. Its probably no consolation, but it doesnt mean theres anything wrong with your account or that they think youre doing anything wrong, this is just what they do.

Has anyone any idea of the timeframe of a review? I can see by my website stats that they visited my site yesterday. So, this would fit with a review. But would be great if someone who has been through this can give some indication of the timeframe of review. Do you think I should contact them - can this speed things? I just dont understand why they dont let you know what is going on - why they leave you hanging. Not just hanging for an hour or 2. But for days........maybe weeks? months?

Well its took 5 days to get a reply from google, since it was the weekend and a holiday. By then I had moved everything into a new account. If I were you, I would assume at least 4 days. Lets hope its sooner than that. Goodluck.
Though you should write to them, and see what they say.

Don't buy into the "under review" line, it's just a Google smokescreen to cover up their system errors. I was able to learn as much from Google support when pressed. In fact, I got the same "under review" canned response when I requested information regarding a situation in which the account was running fine, they just stopped billing my credit card, racking up a backlog of charges. The email response came through with the same "due to a high volume of impressions... Google values quality... under review..." garbage and when I called them on it, pointing out that they obviously didn't even read the email (the email that was quoted right beneath their reply) a week later I had my problem solved and a legitimate response.
Google is having a lot of ongoing technical problems, and they are not doing a good job of handling the customer support regarding it, and the "under review" explanation is just their little way of saying, "don't bug us"

I was very inclined not to believe their 'under review' reason when I was replied to, simple because of the very reason. How long should a review take? Not days, I'm sure. Which is what is actually happening.
