Adwords Accounts Randomly Offline - Anyone Else?
Randomly several of our clients accounts are going offline

We manage about a decent amount of adwords accounts and during November several have just automatically gone offline. The credit card is in good standing, ads are all approved, and if we login the account states it is ACTIVE.

So far calls into Google have been a black hole, lasts weeks phone calls did not even show up in Googles records today. Accounts turned back on - have reverted back to active and offline after a day or two.

We have seen this with, 2 - 3% of our accounts and thought it was just a glitch but the more we find the more concerned we are getting. Any assistance appreciated.

Happened to me too, on one account. I'm still trying to work out why. Its still offline.

Update: As of this morning found another 2 ACTIVE Google adwords accounts that has no impressions, no traffic. Click through rates prior to accounts going offline on were 2 - 8%, we are above the min. bid, and the credit card is in good standing for each.

New wrinkle: Today we notice a self canceled account - On Dec. 2nd, valid credit card, relevant terms for national franchise.

This is happening to some of our accounts as well, the most frustrating part is that Google gives no notice or clue as to when or why this happens and just leaves it to us to find out our clients have gone without traffic over an important weekend, causing an impact on their business. If we know a little more about the cause, like it's a review, at least we can prepare and ramp up other PPCs to compensate in the meantime.

Follow up on the Self cancelled account - this turned out to be a client error and not a Google error.

we had this on the 1st. One account went offline for several hours. Google said they had a bug but it was fixed.

It appears that 20 - 30% of our Google Adwords accounts are M. I. A. (Missing in Active) Active status but not working. We had a large number of these occur on Dec. 1st and 2nd

We are also seeing Credit Card transactions not processing. Perfectly fine card, not going through so something is up at Google.

Google Adwords continues to create headaches as 1/2 of our accounts are back online.

However, this is a new random emial that came in today - " We have cancelled your Google AdWords account at your request. "

To our dismay no one cancelled any account and now we are working hard to try to determine why Adwords appears to be failing across the board.

I am also experiencing this. Some big campaigns are now not running and what's worse is the fact that every keywords in my account has demanded a 2000% increase in bids. Anyone else seeing this?

We are not seeing a minimum increases as the reason for our listings going offline.

Frankie, Cindy, and other members of the Google Adwords Customer Service continue to look into it and the result has been a disaster.

Sites are still offline and other worrisome credit card issues are coming into play and Google cannot solve anything.

This lapse in Customer Support is a real concern, since when you need real help. All Google seems to be able to do is pass the buck and say will respond in 24 hours which was over 30 - 40 hours ago.

does the diagnosics tool give you any message other than "ad shown"?
